Don't see your problem? It's probably still something I can do. Call and describe it — if it's a job that genuinely needs a lift or an alignment rack, I'll tell you that instead of charging you to find out.
Call 240-500-0609Describe it and get a straight answer
Tell me what the car is doing in plain words — the noise, the light, when it started. You'll get the likely causes and a ballpark cost in under a minute, any time of night, and Mike gets the details before he ever picks up the phone.
Estimates only, not a diagnosis. Mike confirms everything on site before any work starts.
What's the car doing? Year, make and model if you have it — and whether it still drives.

You get Mike. Every time.
Not a dispatcher, not a rotating crew, not whoever was closest. I'm a BMW Master Certified Technician and ASE Master Certified Technician with 20+ years of experience — most of it on European cars that other mobile mechanics turn down.
I left the dealership because the part I actually liked — solving the problem and explaining it to the person who owns the car — kept getting squeezed out. Working out of my own van, I get it back. You see the old part. You hear what failed and why. You decide what happens next.

Call and describe it
Tell me the year, make, model and what it's doing. I'll tell you what it likely is, roughly what it runs, and when I can be there — on the phone, before anyone commits to anything.
-
I come to the car
Driveway, apartment lot, office parking garage, side of the road. The van carries its own power, air and lighting, so I don't need anything from your house.
-
You see the problem
I show you the failed part and what it did. No jargon wall, no upsell list. If I find something else, you get a photo and a price before I touch it.
-
Pay when the work is done
Card, tap-to-pay or cash on the spot, itemized invoice by email before I pull away. Parts and labor are warrantied — if it isn't right, I come back.
What you need to have ready
- A reasonably level place to park — driveway, lot, or street
- The keys, and a phone I can reach you on
- Room to open the doors and walk around the car
That's it. No power outlet, no water, no garage. If you're at work, you don't even need to come outside — just leave the keys with me and I'll text you when it's done.
Call 240-500-0609Proof, not promises
Every claim on this page has something behind it. Here's the short version.
-
You see the old part
Every job ends with the failed component in front of you and a plain explanation of what it did. Nobody has to take my word for what was wrong.
-
Dealer-level diagnostics
Full module access and live data, not a $30 code reader that hands you a number. It's the difference between fixing the fault and replacing parts until the light goes out.
-
The van is the shop
Own power, own air, own lighting. I don't need your garage, your outlet, or your hose — a parking space is the whole requirement.
-
It comes to your driveway
Home, office lot, or wherever it quit on you. No tow bill, no rental car, no afternoon lost to a waiting room.
Questions about your own car are free. Call 240-500-0609.
Don't hand over money before I look at it
Private-party sale, dealer lot, or a Marketplace listing an hour away — I meet you at the car and go through it end to end before you commit. You get a written report with photos the same day.
- Full scan for stored and pending fault codes
- Frame, paint depth, and prior accident evidence
- Fluid condition, leaks, and service history gaps
- Brakes, tires, suspension, and steering wear
- Road test with the seller present
Word of mouth, written down
Car died in my driveway on a Tuesday and Mike had it running by that afternoon. He showed me the old alternator and explained exactly what failed. No trip to a shop, no tow, no waiting around a lobby.
Quoted me a range over the phone and the final bill landed right in it. I've never had a mechanic tell me the price before doing the work. Did the brakes in my work parking lot while I was in the office.
Hired him to inspect a used car before I bought it. He found a coolant leak the seller hadn't mentioned and I walked away. Best $200 I've ever spent.
Straightforward, on time, and cleaned up after himself. Texted me a photo of the worn part before replacing it so I could see for myself.
Fastest way to get on the schedule
Online booking is being set up. Until it's live, a phone call is genuinely the fastest route — I can usually tell you within a minute whether I can be there today.
Calling beats a form for this: I'll ask two or three questions about the car that change what I bring in the van.
The things people ask before calling
What do I need to have ready before you arrive?
A reasonably level place to park — a driveway, a parking lot, or a street spot works. I bring my own tools, power, and lighting. Just have the keys and be reachable by phone. If the car is in a garage, I need enough room to open the doors and get around it.
Do you need to plug into my house?
No. The van carries its own power, air, and lighting. I can work in a parking lot at night just as easily as in your driveway.
Is there anything you can't do mobile?
Anything needing a lift, a tire machine, or an alignment rack has to go to a shop — that's internal engine work, transmission replacement, exhaust welding, and alignments. I'll tell you straight if your job is one of those, and I won't charge you a diagnostic fee to find out.
Do you work on BMW and other European cars?
Yes — that's my background. I'm BMW Master Certified and I carry the scan tools and specialty equipment that most general mobile mechanics don't. Mercedes, Audi, VW, MINI, and Volvo as well, alongside all the domestic and Japanese makes.
How quickly can you get to me?
Most days I can reach anywhere in the Middletown and Frederick area same-day, often within a few hours. Outlying parts of the county are usually next-day. Call and I'll tell you honestly where I am in the schedule.
Do you use quality parts?
OEM or OE-equivalent from suppliers I've used for years. If you'd rather I install parts you've already bought, I'll do that too — I'll just be clear up front about what I can and can't warranty.
How do I pay?
Card, tap-to-pay, or cash, right there when the work is done. You get an itemized invoice by email before I leave.
Is the work warrantied?
Yes — parts and labor are warrantied, and if something I touched isn't right, I come back out. Terms depend on the part, and I'll spell it out on your invoice.
